Accessibility Statement
HowToPickATaxPro.com is owned and operated by ARNCO Development LLC. We are committed to making the website reasonably accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
The 30-Second Answer
Our goal is practical accessibility across common devices, browsers, and assistive technologies. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an important reference point where reasonably practicable.
Our Accessibility Goal
We aim to make it possible for visitors to navigate by keyboard, understand page structure through clear headings, read content with adequate contrast, use forms with clear labels, understand links and buttons in context, enlarge text without losing essential functionality, and use assistive technologies where reasonably supported.
Accessibility Standards
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as an important reference point and work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable. Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time certification.
Website Features
Accessibility-supportive features may include semantic headings, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, descriptive link text, labeled form fields, responsive layouts, scalable text, sufficient color contrast, meaningful alt text, skip-to-content navigation, and accessible buttons and controls.
Forms and Assessments
The Tax Professional Fit Assessment and Executor & Trustee Tax Needs Assessment are designed so that form fields are understandable and operable with keyboard navigation and assistive technology. Required fields should be identified clearly, and validation messages should not rely solely on color.
Downloadable PDF Resources
The site offers worksheets, checklists, comparison guides, and estate and trust resources. If you have difficulty using a downloadable resource, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to provide the information in an alternative format.
Images, Color, and Contrast
Meaningful images should include appropriate text alternatives, while decorative images may be omitted from assistive-technology reading order. We aim not to rely solely on images or color to communicate important information and aim to maintain sufficient contrast for text, links, buttons, and form controls.
Keyboard Navigation and Privacy Notice
Core website functions should be usable without a mouse, including navigation, buttons, links, assessment forms, privacy notices, and interactive controls. The privacy notice is designed to receive keyboard focus and prevent inaccessible background interaction while open.
Mobile Accessibility
We aim for the website to remain usable on desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones, with content reflowing appropriately and without unnecessary horizontal scrolling under normal browser magnification and device settings.
Third-Party Content and Known Limitations
We do not control the accessibility of third-party websites or software. Some older resources, third-party tools, browser-specific behavior, or newly published content may not yet be fully accessible in every environment.
Accessibility Feedback and Alternative Formats
If you experience difficulty accessing website content, navigation, forms, downloadable resources, or another feature, contact us through the Contact page and describe the page or resource involved, the problem encountered, and the device or browser if known. When reasonably practicable, we will attempt to provide important information in an alternative format.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility will be considered as part of site updates, new pages, assessment changes, downloadable resource development, design changes, and technical maintenance.
